Alex Demestihas

Managing Partner

Alex has built his 20-year career in the commercial real estate world around a service mindset and helping his clients feel confident, secure, and excited about their projects. Alex’s career has spanned across ground-up developments, healthcare, and commercial office spaces. He has invaluable experience in leading teams responsible for constructing multiple Fortune 500 headquarters, which have continued to reshape the Atlanta skyline. Some of Alex’s recent headquarters experience includes clients such as Norfolk Southern, Invesco, NCR, and Warner Media. He has also led ground-up multifamily projects, adaptive reuse projects, and hospital expansions and renovations.

Alex excels at strategic leadership of large project teams, guiding complex projects to successful outcomes. He claims his success in project management started from his childhood of being the middle child, where he continuously was the “peace keeper” of the family. Having always been interested in the built environment, Alex studied Building Construction at the Georgia Institute of Technology and later received his MBA in Real Estate Development from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

During his 10-year tenure at JLL, Alex most recently led the firm’s Southeast Project & Development Services Division, comprised of 7 offices and over 100 project managers. Alex was responsible for and took great joy in building a culture balancing excellence, fun, mentorship, and service. He was looked to as an expert in building relationships with the brokerage community, working to partner with brokers from around the country to build and maintain client relationships through successful project management practices.

Alex is a LEED Green Associate, a member of the Urban Land Institute, and a graduate and prior chair of the Urban Land Institute’s Center for Leadership. He is also the Co-Founder of SEAM Certification, a project certification program designed to promote social equity and community impact in the real estate space.
